Factory Digital Twin: The Key to Productivity Growth?

Join DMDII for a technology showcase to better understand how a “digital twin” can optimize your factory floor. This workshop will help manufacturers of all sizes visualize what a digital twin could look like within their organization and what steps they can take toward successful implementation, including the need for a rich set of sensor data to power advanced analytics systems. It will also address what gaps are hindering adoption in the production environment, and how digital twins can shape the future of U.S. manufacturing.

The showcase will include a panel discussion highlighting best practices for piloting a digital twin from design to implementation; interactive breakout sessions that will provide attendees the opportunity to engage with Siemens' fully functioning digital twin on the DMDII Future Factory Floor; and opportunities to network with manufacturers, solution providers, and the research community.

  • Date: November 13

  • Time: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

  • Location: UI LABS (1415 N. Cherry Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642)

  • Registration Deadline: November 9 at 5:00 pm CT

  • Registration Fees: $25 for DMDII members; $150 for non-members

Who should attend?

The ideal workshop attendees are manufacturing professionals who are involved in and responsible for crafting and deploying digital strategy within the organization, as well as academics, solution providers, and government representatives who are interested in working collaboratively to progress digital twin technology within the manufacturing sector.
